Limits and quotas

VectorFast Render request limits, size limits, and the pre-launch monthly render allowances per plan. Billing is connected in a later release.

Short answer: each API key can make 60 requests per 60 seconds; request bodies are capped at 256 KiB and images at 4096 pixels per side. Monthly render allowances per plan are listed below as pre-launch prices: billing is connected in a later release, so nothing is charged or metered against them yet.

Plans and allowances (pre-launch)

Billing is connected in a later release. The table below is the pre-launch catalog; prices and allowances may change before launch.

PlanPriceNew renders a monthBrand kits
Free$01001
Starter$19/month ($15/month billed yearly)1,5003
Growth$49/month ($40/month billed yearly)6,00010
Scale$149/month ($125/month billed yearly)25,00030
Credit pack$15 one-time1,000, valid 12 months—

How credits will work once billing is connected:

  • One credit is one new render up to 2400×2400 pixels.
  • Cache hits and watermarked previews cost nothing.
  • Subscription allowance is used first, then credit packs (oldest first), then opted-in overage on Growth ($0.012 per render) or Scale ($0.010 per render) up to a cap you set. Otherwise the request returns 402 insufficient_credits.

Browser vectorization on vectorfast.ai stays free and does not use credits. See pricing for the full plan comparison.

Check your usage

GET /v1/usage returns renders and cached renders for the current calendar month (UTC). Until billing is connected it reports credits_charged: 0 and credits_remaining: null.
